Mission & Values
What's Important to Us
The spiritual development of those within our community is important to us. We believe that all who are a part of our community should seek to grow through the disciplines of prayer, scripture meditation, community and personal worship, and the development of their God-given gifts.
We believe "love" should be the identifying characteristic of our members – in our local communities and in the global community. This love can be carried out in our daily lives through appreciating the diversity around us, the development of relationships with others, and by seeing ourselves as people called to serve those in need.
Finally, we value the diversity of those within our own community of faith. We are comprised of many countries of origin, political views and economic levels. We seek to provide opportunities where people are able to develop relationships with others through generational and intergenerational ministries.
Our Basic Beliefs
The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, where He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
As a community of faith, we are defined by these values. They shape our journey with God and one another. However, words always fall short of capturing the essence of who we are as believers. We invite you to come and experience the life of our community yourself.
